Story :
Milkha Singh (Farhan Akhtar) loses all his family, except for his sister Isri Kaur (Divya Dutta) within the 1947 partition. He possesses AN in-born talent of running that is disclosed whereas he goes on to pursue his childhood dream of change of integrity the military.

While within the army, he keeps basic cognitive process the love of his life, Nirmal Kaur (Sonam Kapoor), whom he has secure to return back when he achieves one thing massive. Milkha runs in an internal running competition for a glass of milk and is chosen for a national level championship.

After facing variety of hardships, Milkha goes on to win medals when medals at varied international championships. One fine day the runner is appointed to move a friendly tournament between Indian and Pakistan. Milkha bluffly disagrees to be an area of it.

What is reason behind his disagreement ? and with this call what new turns can his skilled and sexual practice take? That forms the remainder of the story.

Plus Points :
First and foremost, i'd wish to take a bow to Farhan’s rigorous coaching to realize a body thus overwhelming. He looks, walks and talks sort of a true contestant. His performance isn't simply jaw dropping however additionally his best works until date. except for Farhan, actors like Pavan Malhotra and Yograj Singh provide beautiful performances.

The pic is AN in-depth biopic of the legend and talks all concerning his struggle, defeat, victory, love-life and childhood efforts. The director has coated even the little details of his life.

The running sequences in BMB square measure dead within the best method attainable that even the audience within the theater would begin cheering for Milkha.

Minus Points :
After a brilliant hit and impactful film like Rang First State Basanti, one would expect lots from Rakeysh Mehra‘s direction in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. however sadly he brings forth nothing however predictable  turns and spare emotions.

Divya Dutta’s character in he film causes you to feel unhealthy for her because the poor woman will nothing however cry. Sonam Kapoor on the opposite hand seldom encompasses a dialogue. All I will bear in mind her language is ‘Ji’. She appearance stunning tho'.

The frequent flashbacks of Milkha’s devastating childhood ANd his over emotional relation together with his sister displays an pampering of drama. The romantic sequences between Farhan and Sonam is totally spare and incomplete.

Pace of the pic is far too slow and takes for ever to complete. Even the length doesn't facilitate either as several scenes may have simply been sliced off. half of the film is just too slow and nonmeaningful because the Flying Sikh doesn’t begin flying till the interval.

Technical Aspects :
Even though a number of the songs within the pic square measure value a listen, they only don’t slot in the plot. AN emotional moment is created even a lot of emotional with the insertion of a slow song.

It is solely by the last half that the story starts obtaining slightly fascinating and starts concentrating on the character’s skilled journey. Prasoon Joshi’s writing is superb and he shows off his inventive mind another time with this one.

The background score by Shankar Ehsaan Loy is apt and sounds authentic. picture taking by Binod Pradhan is top-notch as his camera covers the village furthermore because the construction sequences within the right method. redaction by P S Bharathi is once more sharp and intelligent.

Final Word :
On the full, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag offers nothing new for the audience. The in-depth aspects of Milkha Singh’s life within the half can most likely bore you to the core. The film takes for ever to complete, however the visual treat that Farhan offers together with his performance is that the only 1 to observe out for.
